Interacting

I feel as though Nathan has been doing more interacting with his peers. We recently had a park play date with a peer from the class he mainstreams into. He and his friend were at either end if a tunnel slide echoing to each other back and forth, laughing and being silly. They also tossed a ball a bit. We also saw his friend Marcus on world Down syndrome day (3/21) and Nathan and Marcus were cracking each other up laughing. Nathan has been greeting people everywhere with a huge "hi!". We met an older boy with DS who does the same thing so lots of loud "hi's" were exchanged. Nathan has been better with answering questions and was able to have a conversation with an adult (one of Cianna's friend's parents) yesterday in which he was able to answer his name, how old he is, what he ate for lunch, etc, in a totally accurate and understandable way.  I think he's really got the hang of yes/no questions now too, which is great, although I'm getting some very emphatic "no's" sometimes!
