Race

The last time I ran a race, I ran a 10k while 12 weeks pregnant with Cianna. To get motivated, I signed up for a 7k and signed Cianna up for the kids fun run. I had her do the half mile and it turns out we should have done the quarter mile; a little beyond a quarter mile she was complaining her tummy hurt and we had to walk. Cianna did finish the race, though, under her own power without being carried. When I asked whether she liked it she said "no". When I asked whether she wanted to do it again sometime she said "yes". She insisted later on that she wants to do it again "by myself". Hmmm, I think for right now Mommy will run with her!
